St. George, Utah - Tonaquint Preserve

You just know I had to do some birding while in Utah. We had asked at the St. George welcome center for birding locations and they came up empty. Luckily Connie did not.

I was unable to identify this fellow but if I had to guess
Orange-crowned Warbler.

Early October and the colors were amazing.

Where there are song birds...

...there are Cooper's Hawks.

Ducks

Another one I could not identify.
Perhaps another Orange-crowned warbler.
